]]> Në kuadër të projektit “Supporting European Quality Assurance Agencies in meeting the European Standards and Guidelines (SEQA – ESG)”, Presidenti i European Association for Quality Assurance in Higher Education (ENQA), Z. Douglas Blackstock dhe Drejtori i European Quality Assurance Register for Higher Education (EQAR), Z. Colin Tuck, shoqëruar gjithashtu nga Koordinatori i Projektit Z. Alexis Fabregas, zhvilluan një vizitë në Tiranë në datat 1 dhe 2 Shtator 2022.

Qëllimi i kësaj vizite ishte njohja me progresin që ka bërë Agjencia e Sigurimit të Cilësisë në Arsimin e Lartë (ASCAL) në lidhje me përafrimin me Standardet dhe Udhëzuesit Europian, në këtë fushë.

Në këtë kuadër u zhvilluan takime me Ministren e Arsimit dhe Sportit, Znj. Evis Kushi, Drejtuesen e ASCAL-it, Znj. Xhiliola Bixheku dhe stafin e Agjencisë, si dhe me Kryetaren e Bordit të Akreditimit, Znj. Shqiponja Telhaj dhe Anëtaren e këtij Bordi, Znj. Darinka Piqani.

Në takimin e zhvilluar me stafin e ASCAL-it, drejtuesja, Znj. Bixheku, shkurtimisht i njohu të pranishmit me rrugëtimin e Agjencisë dhe sfidat që janë ndeshur në punën e saj të përditshme.  Takimi vazhdoi me një prezantim mbi reformat kryesore që ASCAL-i ka ndërmarrë dhe pengesat e hasura në rrugën drejt përafrimit me ESG.

Znj. Bixheku, i rikonfirmoi Z. Blackstock dhe Z. Tuck që ASCAL, në bashkëpunim me Ministrinë e Arsimit dhe Sportit, po punojnë për realizimin në një kohë sa më të shkurtër të reformave ligjore të nevojshme për përshtatjen e legjislacionit kombëtar me atë Europian.

Presidenti i ENQA vlerësoi progresin e ASCAL-it në përmirësimin dhe ruajtjen e cilësisë në arsimin e lartë dhe inkurajoi Agjencinë drejt anëtarësimit të plotë në ENQA.
