History of QAAHE
Quality Assurance Agency in Higher Education (QAAHE) is a public institution that is responsible to secure the external evaluation of quality in higher education of the Republic of Albania. The agency acts based on the Law nr. 08/2025 "On higher education and scientific research on higher institutions on the Republic of Albania" and DCM nr.190, date 15.02.2017 "On organizing and functioning of Quality Assurance Agency in Higher Education (QAAHE) and the Accreditation Board".
In accordance of the evaluation and the accreditation process, QAAHE contributes on the ongoing development of the academic quality and on approximation of the higher education system to European standards and guidelines (ESG)
